ALiGNMENT RODS - Motorcycle wheel alignment tool

Stop relying on factory stamped rear axle alignment marks. Rear wheel misalignment can lead to poor handling and accelerated wear on chain and sprockets. ALiGNMENT RODS allow you to set the rear axle parallel to the swingarm pivot, right down to the millimeter.

Sizes:

• Standard 5/16" rods are the most common. Fitting most sportbikes.
• Smaller 1/4" rods are required on some smaller bikes with a small swingarm pivot and/or axle hole. e.g. Triumph 675 & 765, SV650, Aprilia RS660, FZ07.

Tech Tips:

• Used by both amateur and professional race teams any time a gearing change is made. Allows for accurate note keeping of wheelbase length at a given gear ratio. 
  • A gear ratio with a shorter wheelbase will turn in with less effort, but also be less stable.
  • A gear ratio with a longer wheelbase will be more stable, but take more rider input to turn.
